Wtih Athearn annoucing the NS Exec F-7 A +B to be out around April '14(MSRP $124.98,A+ dummy B), Biz train power can range from the newest power of the RR to Hertiage units like F-7's to E-8's to F40ph's(CSX). In most cases, little to no weathering, shiney, clean and almost perfect paint!

While this is a Passenger Train Modeling board,we don't forget about other operations,1 of them is the Miltary moves from bases to the ports or to trainning centers across the US. Here's a few pics of a miltary move in HO scale.

This is one of my favorite business train vids (look at that stainless steel gleam!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn2Af6WzdaYI've been helping a friend of mine, who is a BNSF modeler, create a freelanced version of a BNSF business train (remember these?). He recently purchased an MTH SD70ACE which will be the main power for it. It's a beautiful looking unit but currently it's not being very cooperative in DCC mode (and the manual is very vague).

MTH DCS is suppose to work on DCC,but...@#$^@,it's a pain to reprogram, Try to use Decoder Pro 3 and a programming track booster to reprogram it,or manually reprogram the CV's using the vaules created by the programmer. Check the MTH website if they have a downloadable programming manual. GOOD LUCK.

It is interesting how BNSF is the only one of the big four to use it's modern motive power for their OCS. NS has their F9's, CSX has F40's and UP has a wide array of historic equipment. Nevertheless, the BNSF train looks sharp! It is sure a great way to show off their latest and greatest motive power.
Antonio, good luck getting the loco programmed, the cars look great!

CSX has recently picked up and rebuilt a pair of ex-MARC Geeps(NOT the MPI rentals to MBTA) for pullling their track Geometry train and possibly as relief power for the F-40's. They might pull duty for the "Clinchfield" X-mas train.(just a wild guess)
