Does any one know if there are Horizon coaches made for HO in the phase IVb or V paint scheme. . All I have been able to find are the Amfleet car in HO. If they are available who makes them?

No, they have never been made. IVb seems to be pretty popular though, so a manufacturer may go for it within the next few years. I have heard talk (nothing serious) about Walthers doing new Horizon cars, but I think they are waiting to see how well their mew Amfleets sell. If Walthers does decide to go for it, it is almost a guarantee that they would do IVB. For right now though, your best bet is custom painting. Hope this helps! |

The only difference Between phIV and phIVb is the "wave/3 sheets" logo
Seems to be applied when the car is shopped at Bear or Beech Grove.
Not sure if there's a Decal avaible yet.

I'm under the impression that the blue used in the Phase IVb is actually a different shade from the original Phase IV. Its a little noticeable, but it shouldn't be a major problem.

The blue may have been that dark when 1st applied,it may have lightened some what due to exposure to weather,
and many trips thru the washtrack.

Like I said about the re-run of the Superliners upgraded to Proto2000 standards, just trust me... they're coming (Horizon Coach / Café) Ph III, IV, IVb
You will be very happy.
