What some people call "flyover country" is where I live, Albuquerque NM,moved here in the 1980's from the NY Metro area. saw the creation of MNR,NJT,and Amtrak's takeover of the NEC from Conrail, the PC merger. Since moving here, have seen NMRX and UTA's "Frontrunner" service start up,a group of celebs and local business people start up the Santa Fe Southern RR,that saved the Lamy to Santa Fe branch of then ATSF. Am retired due to a medical condition from Driving "Over the Road"(trucking) Member of a local Module RR club,in HO scale Have a "fair" understanding of DCC,the club(ASHOME) was 1 of the first to see and understand how DCC worked using Digitrax from the begining.
