How about good, but needs to be tweaked(ie:minor changes) Athearn just tweaked the P-42's for "bolt on nose" detail, the Kato P-42's need some tweaking.
Also:Athearn is now offering a motor upgrade kit to the Genisis motor. detail about that will follow shorty

I have a OMI-Ajin Amtrak P32ACDM in Phase IV colors that I found brand new a couple of months ago at a train show for dirt cheap and just missed out on the brass New Haven version. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Runs great compared to other brass models I've owned and eventually I might upgrade it with DCC/Sound. Well, let's see some pics!! Post them in the Share Pictures of Amtrak Models thread please Will do, but still haven't figured out how to post pictures without using a third party website. BTW....Didn't AMTK have a GP7 on their roster also? Or was it a GP9?

Rails,They were rehabbed GP-7's with 6 ex-UP GP-9's painted orange for the 1st round of NEC rebuild project. You do not need a 3rd party site here,Just attach the pic to the post!

One using a third-party site, the other using a direct upload. DirectThird-Party

It's a list of mass-produced models, I know, but IHP did the first attempt at an SDP40F resin shell back in 1997, and one of our first resin HO kits was an SPV-2000. The SDP40F was in production until about 2002. The SPV-2000 only ran about 7 kits in 1996, as we had trouble with the caster making them at the time. Come to think of it, that's what ended SDP40F production as well. We're considering a new SPV-2000 kit (Amtrak version only, probably) and the Rohr Turboliner, as we have finally found drawings for it. Mike,If you attempt the Rohr Tubro, there were 3rd rail shoes on the power cars for running into GCT,they were traction power only, the HEP was only off the turbine untill plugged in to ground power at the platform in GCT
