Figure on CRRC doing a "cloned" design of the BBD ML II's with just enough tweaks to make SEPTA happy, Also SEPTA did "tape measure" clearance testing,instead of borrowing a NJT ML II for testing. Lets see if CRRC's prototype car "touches" the ceiling" of the Center City Tunnel The "worst case" on the NEC is the North(Hudson) River Tubes,at 14'6" clearance under the wire where the NJT ML II's fit. Does anybody know what height the Center City Tunnel in Philly is?
