Hi all, IHP has added the HO scale CN CCF MU Commuter Cars to our Shapeways page. This is the next offering in our 3D kit range. We had some interest in this model in HO from some customers who wanted it despite the cost of doing it in 3D, so it is being added to the range. These cars have never been modeled commercially before and are ideal subjects for the 3D marketing approach. The prototypes were built in motor and trailer configurations, but only the motor car is available now. The trailer car will be available early next week. The models were designed complete with detail parts, underbody, interiors and frames, some of which are not yet on Shapeways with the body components, but we expect to add them soon. See the details for the cars on the IHP website at: ihphobby.tripod.com/rseries/cnccfmu.htmlThanks! Mike Bartel IHP ihphobby.tripod.comwww.shapeways.com/shops/ihphobby

Hi all, A little later than we thought, but now you can build a complete Montreal 'Deux Montagnes Line' commuter train. These Canadian Car & Foundry (CCF) cars were built in the 1950s and retired in the mid 1990s when new cars for the rebuilt line arrived from Bombardier. They were built in motor and trailer versions, all in single-end configurations. The motor cars had two pantographs each. IHP has had the motor car available on Shapeways now for several months, but now the TRAILER CAR is available. It consists of a body shell, a frame with some underbody, and stepwells. It makes use of some common detail parts with the motor car, namely diaphragms and roof details (insulators, headlight casings). Check it out now on our Shapeways page: www.shapeways.com/model/1247176Thanks! Mike Bartel IHP ihphobby.tripod.comwww.shapeways.com/shops/ihphobby
