Hi there!
For those of you that model passenger or commuter railroads, you probably know that we are not the average model railroader. That's exactly why I created this forum--a place where the passenger and commuter modelers from all over can exchange information and share about projects in one central location. What started as Amtrak & Commuter modelers (acmodels) has quickly transformed to include all passenger and commuter modeling, from VIA Rail Canada to the PRR. This board's main purpose is to be a one-stop website for passenger and commuter modelers. However, this does not mean that we do not welcome freight modelers, especially if they are looking for information on running passenger trains on their layout. Freight operations on a passenger layout are also a welcome discussion. I encourage everyone to use this forum as a place to share information, techniques, AND ESPECIALLY PHOTOGRAPHS

Please exercise proper behavior while posting on this forum. Also, try to stick to model railroading. If you want a forum on prototype railroading, I would highly recommend RAILROAD.NET! There's no need to make this into a website about prototype railroading when there is already a great one out there.
One last thing- when posting please follow this format so that we know exactly what the topic is about:
Railroad Project Name
For example:
Amtrak Phase V P40 renumbering
SEPTA Silverliner V project
So please, the only way for this forum to get its feet off the ground is for you guys to join and start posting your projects. Thanks and happy modeling!
