They look really nice! Catch is that a number of the southeastern modelers I know are very particular and if window arrangements or certain body details are not correct or "extremely close" they won't go for it. That's just how it is. With advances in technology many modelers have become much more discriminating compared to the old Blue Box days.
As for me, I consider myself flexible and can live with decent looking foobies.

As reminder, most commuter coaches are "repurposed" coaches, lounges, and sleepers from LD services, Some lounge cars were bought out right by commuter "clubs" at times, for the onboard bar facilites. these "club" cars were on certain trains, normally used the the club members, and paid the "attendant" to stock and maintain the bar, fees paid to the RR for maintance and switching.

I think they also plan to offer some CNJ/ NJ DOT cars in the blue and yellow scheme, but I haven't seen them in hobby shops yet. They are numbered in the same series as the former KCS cars purchased by the NJ DOT for the CNJ, but they aren't exact.
I wonder how close these cars will be.

Rapido has posted a shot of the Penn Central coaches at the factory, looking all finished up and ready to go. Looks like these are moving along on schedule. You can view their page even if you don't have a Facebook account: www.facebook.com/rapidotrains
