With National Train Day about 2 weeks away from now,be safe and careful at the displays,if you are operating a layout,
understand the general public will ask the "dumb" questions,just keep the answers simple.
Enjoy the day safely
For those in the LAUS area,The Amtrak Exibit Train will be there,at most of the other disply sites,
there will be cars or Acela sets displayed,both Amtrak and private cars at some major sites

When posting about specialty parts,if possible,post a link to the "creator's/manufacturer"
website,so the rest of us can look at that site,Shapeways is a co-op that helps
many different people and manufacturers with 3-D printed parts.
Also the parts are created "on Demand" as needed,figure on up to 10 days plus lead time
for the part(s) to be made and shipped.

Gents,There's been word that Photobucket is now charging $$$ for using their site. Not sure of the real cost but word is around the $ 400.00 range! :-( WE have lost some of pics in the threads due to Photobucket's change of terms on their site!   |

There was an accident involving a bystander on UP this weekend,this was the Frontier Days run of UP 844 from Denver,
this was a fatal accident,the person was hit by 844 and thrown away,the person was TOO close to the track,and focused on the phone,
NOT on the reality of being too close! I have seen the Edited Drone video,it's not fun to watch. Any loss of life is BAD!
By the time you read this the"liveleak" site will be forced to pull it by UP's legal beagles.
As a reminder to all,be careful and be in a safe,legal place to railfan,there will be RR police awareness after this accident
