In this thread feel free to post as many pictures as you would like from your Midwestern & Western region commuter models. They don't have to fit into any project or subject matter, this thread is simply for the fun of sharing pictures.

Here's Metra 614 using a Shapeways shell, riding on an Athearn SD40-2 frame and HT-C trucks. The wheelbase isn't exactly correct cuz Athearn, but she's pretty close. ESU Loksound-installed and LED lighting as well. A friend of mine did 611 using a Kato parts, and I like his a little more than mine. Windows were a pain since they had to be individually cut and fit from styrene (and lots of Micro Krystal-Klear).

This thing looked fantastic over on dieseldetailer, and it still looks great. I wish we had cars to pull with it, but alas...
I can see a little of the printing pattern on the front, but compared to not having an F40C at all it came out very well. Did the guy who designed it do an as-built version for those of us who need it?

He did! However, Kaslo also has an F40C on their to-do list, if interest rises to a certain level.

A few years back, I was asked to model the WSOR's passenger fleet. Here are some photos of the finished product.

Here's my most recent passenger project to roll out of the shops-Wabash 1015.
The 1050 and 1002 were done a couple of years ago and my customer wanted a third unit, so he sent an undec along with the 1002 and 105 (they needed Sergent couplers). All three were done using Microscale decals, TruColor paint/finishes and ESU Loksound with LED lighting.
Taken on my personal model railroad---don't mind the modern equipment....

Nice work, and an interesting mix of prototype models. What did you use for the theater car?
