Hi and Happy New Year to all.
My name is SJ and have been following this board and reading some great comments for a while and decided to join up.
I'm on a few other Proboards & MR forums but decided to join this one since I model passenger rail, particularly the NE Corridor.
Hope to add a few tidbits as well as get some.

Welcome to the forum! I hope that you will enjoy the community and modeling advice on here! I always get excited to have more NEC modelers on board because that is my personal interest as well. What era do you model?

Thanks guys.
When I was a teenager, one of my first summer jobs was working part time baggage claim in NY Penn Station during the early years of Amtrak, so I got to see some of the most interesting equipment moves first hand.
As far as modeling, I model the transition era commuter rail from Penn Central to modern day with mostly electrics. One of my first train sets was a HO 1970's Bachmann Metroliner set from Trainworld and ever since then, I've had the bug.
I'm excited to say we've come a long way from those Bachmann sets!!
