Lifelike/Walters P1K RDC DCC conversion/Install,in HO scale

While Rapido is about to unleash their version soon enough,Lifelike/Walters P1K RDC is a simple,somewhat easy
conversion to do.
For now,pick a "Hardwire" type of decoder to install(Like Digitrax DH 126 that I will use),
KD# 5 couplers to replace the "McHenry" coupler "clones" from the Factory,
Passengers and crew,to populate the cars(optional),
Paint for interior(optional),
Paper,colored,for window shades,
Detail Parts,if needed to correct Factory "mistakes"(Depends on prototype modeled),
Soldering Iron and Solder,
Tool(weapon)of choise to cut Light Board circut traces at the "X" location on the board,
A "Third Hand" tool to hold wires while soldering,along with a "Hemostat" to use as a "Heat Sink".
For Reference,the pin outs for a 8 pin plug;
pin 1 Orange, Motor +
pin 2 Yellow,Reverse Headlight ("B" end)
pin 3 Blank(not used)
pin 4 Black, Rail -
pin 5 Grey,Motor -
pin 6 White,Front Headlight ("A" end)
pin 7 Blue,Headlight common
pin 8 Red,Rail +
