Made a few modifications to the recent release of Athearn Genesis MP15ACs for the Long Island Railroad in Blue & White. I picked up 164, might pick up another. Work Done:- Installed Loksound Direct Decoder (had to use the old 12-645 NT sound file :/ )
- Installed working LED Marker lights
- Installation of Details west 243 Ditch Lights
- Swapped McHenry couplers out for modified Kadee 119 couplers
The factory bulbs burnt out so now I need to replace those with LEDs & eventually weather it sometime.

Are you sure that's a MP-15AC? The prototype pic,LIRR 164 is a MP-15DC rigged to be used as a "power pac". Note the faded "P" on the nose and the 2 650VDC plug-ins on the pilot. The larger plug was the plus side, the smaller plug was the minus(return)side.

Deandre...lookin' good! It is always fun to receive new models! The additions that you made may seem like smaller details, but I think they really bring the model up to the next level. Maybe one day you could get some LEDs in those ditch lights as well!

The larger plug was the plus side, the smaller plug was the minus(return)side. LIRR had no MP15DCs. The AC has the tunnel motor-like radiator intakes, while the DC does not. In this case, "AC" meant the use of an alternator and solid-state rectifier instead of a generator.
