Lou La Salle here, just saying "Hello", At home I model in N scale and favor Long Distance Passenger Service from the 40's, and 50's. Super Chief, El Capitan, CZ, TCL, CONO, etc. In N scale, I also have a fair collection of Japanese prototype long distance trains, Shinkansen trains, EMU/DMU, and commuters. I spent time in Japan while in the US Navy in the 60's and have been fascinated by their train since.
I am becoming a member of an HO club here in PA and i have an urge to acquire Walthers Metroliner, having seen them run often, while working at Gateway at Penn Station in Newark,NJ I live in Bucks County,PA and enjoy photographing trains, and make regular visits to Hamilton on the NJT to see Amtrak and NJT trains.

Hi Lou! If you like the Metroliner, go for it! The prototypes, even with their flaws, were unique beauties (until the birth of "Amfleet") and were the only trains in the USA (during the 70s) that regularly ran at 100mph speeds. Which version are you interested in? Pennsy, Penn Central, or Amtrak?
