Broadway Limited just released their 2016-17 catalog. I'm not that much into steamers but 2 locomotives caught my eye. BLI is bringing back the GG1, (both in HO & N) but this time with motorized pantographs & with their Rolling Thunder sound system. No Amtrak GG1's are announced unfortunately. Also coming out is something new that has only been done in brass as far as I know. The PRR P5a Boxcab, also with motorized pantographs & sound. Although I don't see myself getting another GG1, I'm in on the P5a to pull the BLI P70 coaches I purchased. Personally, I would rather for BLI to do the New Haven EP-3, EP-4, or EP-5 to go with the Rapido 8600 coaches. But I guess there is a strong market for more GG1's. So far BLI is only running PRR P-70's,LIRR used the P-70 coaches as well. After the grade crossing wreck, the PRR P5a's were rebuilt with GG-1 style carbodys,Wonder if BLI will do a run of the rebuilds? The P5a's were like the GG-1's,a"jack of all trades" that could work passenger or freight service. A needed electric motor model
