Have started on a pair of Function only Decoder installs,1 is an athearn dummy F-7A into a Power Pack type Cab
for push/pull service,the other is an AHM Dummy E-8A painted in Amtrak ph I.
Both are getting working Headlights,the E-8 might get a "soundbug" decoder since there's room for it.
For the "Power Pack" removed the plastic wheelsets/bearings used on dummy models,and replaced them with
metal wheelsets from the spare parts on hand(was able to reuse cracked axle gears for this project)
The E-8 is stuck (for now) with factory "pizza cutter" wheelsets until a replacement set of NWSL 42"
wheelsets arrive at the shop.
