There are a few DCC systems out there, some are very simple systems, others more complex. All systems work with all decoders with the exception of the MTH DCS system.(as I understand it) IF other, please state system in your message. Thanks in advance!

I guess I'm biased but I've worked with NCE at the model railroad club I was a member of a few years ago and was impressed with it. I just wish that, somehow, NCE could manufacture a controller with a lever instead of that scroll wheel.

I just got my 3.0 Amp Sprog DCC programmer and command station up and running. Amazing that I can use my iPod and Android phone for throttles and programming decoders is so easy. If you have an old computer then $125 to get into DCC is not so tough.
Love it.

I'm a major supporter of the NCE DCC systems. The throttle is just way more user friendly and functional compared to the others. My prodigy system wasn't 100% reliable, and my experiences with digitrax haven't been great.
Besides, pick up any MR "comparison" article, and its easy to see which system gives you the most for the money.

The Club I'm with(ASHOME)has used Digitrax, from the beginning, when DCC was just finally standardized by NMRA.(about the late'90's)For large layouts or club layouts, upgrade to the 8-amp Boosters for the mainlines.
