One can only hope they will in the near future,Athearn did a run of a quasi-P-32dm (the P-40 body shell) in MN silver/blue paint.

I would rather see a real P32AC-DM instead of a P42 painted as one but its just like the old FL9 which was so regional that it most likely will never be made in plastic unless RPS pulls through with their project.

KOBO Customs is a Kato-Japan "in house" shop at the factory, if there's enough demand, they just might do it!

That would be nice but doubtful as it would require a new body, Trucks, and underframe. lol. Here are some pics of the regular Amtrak Version, the Kobo unit with the added plate and the real one. you can see the entire underframe is different as far as equipment and trucks have third rail pickups. The rear end of the body is all off and there is no round fan housing on the roof of the real CDOT units. Its a nice paint scheme and some will get it just for that but for anyone that wants accurate locos they will have to do a lot of work.

There was an "attempted" HO scale P-32 done by Athearn near the end of "Blue Box" locos era. It was a "repaint" of the P-40 body shell to MN silver/blue. In RMC years back, there was an article on creating the proper model by modifing the body shell,Based on 1 of the CDOT P-32's,the article could help create MNR/AMTK P-32's
