BSH-
I'm close to having a compressed consist for a Califronia Zephyr but more interesting would be a Coast Starlight with a an Ex-AT&SF Pacific Parlour Car! I'm still in need of a Baggage, Sleeper, and Coach to make it at least 7 cars. I have the Trans Sleeper, Diner, Lounge, and Bag Coach all in phase IVb.

You might have enough cars to do the Spokane Wa to Portland Or section of the Empire Builder(train #'s 27/28) From the Oct Walters Flyer,pg 34 the "Sky Lounge" El Cap car is now in Ph I or Ph II paint, $79.98 or $89.98 with lights, current "shiney style"plate finish

The other day BNSF derailed a coal train near Lupton Az, #3(11) was turned back at Gallup NM,then laid up at ABQ. The next day #3(12) got the honor of picking up #3(11) consist(and passengers)and head west to LAUS. Amtraks current placment of coaches on the rear, noticed something different on the last coach,as the coaches got overhauled at Beech Grove,MU pass thru cables were added black in color on both sides of the car. This is the (my)left side of the setup Attachments:

There's 1 reported Diner/Lounge,#37000,that has the MU cable pass-thru mod, not sure if 1 of the Lounges got the MU mod for use with the Ca owned Surfliners.
