An in progress shot of a NPCU model based on 406 using what ever is handy for parts,the remains of a Lifelike "trainset quality" F-40ph,early Athearn Blomberg dummy trucks,some sheet styrene for pilots,and a couple detail parts. To be # 2xx to allow the underframe to look right acela,not sure you link is working right Attachments:

An other in progress shot,this is a Metroliner cab car conversion,again using parts on hand,to me,believe using a Details West "weedcutter"pilot creates a "better" look then the sheet metal wonder used on the cars done at Bear De shop. Attachments:

Guys,This is what I do when running Push-Pull consists,use a KD-118 shelf coupler on the "B" end of the car/NPCU/cab car.

This was shot at the Rio Grande Valley Model RR Club layout at Expo NM during this year's State Fair, the SW Chief #4 with Amtk 516 leading tops the grade in Cimarron Canyon passing by Cimarron Canyon Coal mine #1 and a bunch of signal dept trucks and a few chasing railfans.(the workers and railfans are off camera+safe ) Attachments:

The process of cleaning up that Metroliner cab car has been slow at best,stripping off 3 layers of paint,had to resort to 91% isopropyl alcohol to remove the paint. When Bachmann painted on the ph I to the shell, the white band spread to 3 corrugations above and below the window area. Attachments:
